The Audi A3 TDI and Audi Q7 TDI are presently eligible for a federal Alternative Motor Vehicle tax credit. This tax credit begins to phase out once a manufacturer sells 60,000 eligible vehicles. Volkswagen Group (including Audi) has reached 60,000 sales of TDI vehicles, so the tax credit will drop to 50% beginning July 1st and will be eliminated after December 31st.

10MY A3 TDI

100% Credit Through June 30: $1,300
50% Credit July 1 through Dec 31: $650
0% Credit After Dec 31: $0

10MY Q7 TDI

100% Credit Through June 30: $1,150
50% Credit July 1 through Dec 31: $575
0% Credit After Dec 31: $0
